Gary Jacobs is the Founder and Managing Director of Jacobs Investment Company LLC (JIC), a diverse international portfolio which includes impact investing in Israel. He is a General Partner in NGT3, a technological incubator in Nazareth, focusing on Israeli Arab entrepreneurs.

He is a Past Chair and current Board Member of JCC Association, the continental umbrella organization for more than 350 JCC’s in the United States and Canada.  He is a Past President of Lawrence Family Jewish Community Center, Jacobs Family Campus and United Jewish Federation of San Diego County.

In the philanthropic world, he is Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Gary and Jerri-Ann Jacobs High Tech High, a charter school system with four campuses serving 5,300 diverse students in San Diego, CA. Mr. Jacobs is working to bring the High TechHigh philosophy of education equality and social justice to the Israeli school system working with the Ministry of Education and school chains. In addition, he is co-founder of JITLI-International Teen Leadership Institute.

Mr. Jacobs serves on numerous public and private corporate boards. He also owns the Lake Elsinore Storm Professional Minor League Baseball Team. 

Gary currently serves on the Triton Initiative Leadership Group and the Triton Athletics Board. He and his wife, Jerri-Ann, created the Gary and Jerri-Ann Graduate Fellowship in Social Sciences Endowment and the Jerri-Ann and Gary Jacobs Chair in Social Sciences and the Jerri-Ann and Gary Jacobs Baseball Scholarship Endowment.

Gary received his bachelor’s degree in management science from UC San Diego.
