Sandra Timmons ’81

Sandra Timmons has worked as a producer, writer and video consultant for both corporate and educational clients. As a member of the KPBS-TV staff, she produced public affairs programs and was a location director for the “Nightly Business Report.” Currently, Timmons is a member of the KPBS Advisory Board and serves on the board of directors of the Museum of US in Balboa Park, and the National Conflict Resolution Center. She and her husband have been supporting UC San Diego for over 30 years where her leadership includes past chair of Chancellor’s Associates, a scholarship program dedicated to increasing access to higher education and current service on the Social Science Dean's Advisory Council and the UC San Diego Alumni Council, as the Alumni Regent Emeritus. Timmons received her bachelor’s degree in psychology with a minor in mathematics from UC San Diego in 1981.
