R. Barry McComic

Chairman and CEO, McComic Consolidated Inc.

Barry McComic is Chairman and CEO of R.B. McComic Inc., real estate developers. He is involved with several philanthropic and civic organizations such as the San Diego Child Abuse Prevention Foundation, the San Diego Institute for the Arts Foundation and the San Diego Opera and Symphony. 

Barry received his bachelor’s degree from Union University and his LL.B. from Tulane. He has done postgraduate work in law at the University of Freiburg, West Germany and Hague International, Netherlands. He was elected to the Board of Trustees in 1987, and served as Chair. He is a member of the Chancellor’s Associate and a former member of the Board of Overseers.
