As part of our efforts to streamline operations and to have processes similar to those of the campus, as of April 1, 2009, the UC San Diego Foundation will no longer require a Signature Authorization Sheet. In addition, with the exception noted below, signatures will no longer be required on the Foundation’s Request for Funds Form. However, we will need to continue to maintain current fund administrator information. Therefore we ask that you notify our office of any changes in departmental contacts (PI and/or business fund manager).
For the use of endowed chair expendable payout, the approval of a Vice Chancellor, or other division leader if specifically designated by a Vice Chancellor, will continue to be required on Requests for Funds.
As a result of this change, we are now able to accept the completed Request For Funds forms by fax at (858) 534-8160, by email at UCSDFoundationAcctng@mail.ucsd.edu, or via campus mail at Mail Code 0940.
As a reminder, all Foundation PI and fund administrators have access to Foundation information on the STAR Dashboard.
